Hey, Hey, Hey... 2 Manis Today...Ho, Ho, Ho!!!!

Since I haven't been posting much lately I decided to share not 1, but 2 manis today. As if you couldn't guess that by the title of my post lol.

First up is just a simple gradient I did.

 Orly "Crush On You"

 Orly "Oh Cabana Boy"

Finished up with a coat of OTD "Northern Lights"

So that's my first mani for today. Now on to the second mani for today...

As you can see these are not my fingers lol. My friend said she didn't think her nails could be painted so I felt the need to prove her wrong lol. Granted the clean up kinda sucks, but I'm not use to do other people's nails and in my defense it was kinda late lol

I used 2 coats of Petites "Hazel" and for the stamping I used Orly "Glitz"

I used the lotus flower image on the Mash-35 Plate

Well that's it for today! Thanks for reading and please come back soon.

Quick and Dirty...

So I realized that it's been a bit since my last post. I've been dealing with a lot of personal stuff and I won't bore or bother you with it. Instead I'll just give you a quick mani :)

I was bored one day so I asked for some weird color combos from some girls in a Facebook group. Well one of the first responses was purple and orange.... So that's what I did :)

I started out with 2 coats of Essence "Dress For A Moment"

For the orange I used Revlon "Sorbet"

and for the purple I used one of the new summer neons China Glaze "Beach Cruise-r"
This purple practically glows!!! I love it.

I'm loving gradients right now so I thought it would be fun to put it at an angle. The formula was great for both polishes. I had no issues with application.
Just look at that purple!!!

I wanted to add something to it so I figured the best thing to do would be stamping. I chose Mash-44 .... Afterwards I wish I had chosen a different image, but it turned out ok I guess

I only wore this for 1 day so I don't count it as a win.... but I do plan on using that purple again soon :)
I did find it a little hard for me to center the image on all my nails, but I think I just need some more practice.

So do you think this was a hit or miss? Let me know in the comments!! Thanks for reading!

Golden Gradient and Stamping!

Today I have a gradient I did on Sunday night. I'm really proud of how they came out. It was my first time using my Mash stamping plates and my first time using rhinestones :)

Here are the polishes I used:
L to R: Essence "What Do U Think?, Orly "Glitz", Misa "Sisterhood", Misa "Sweet Pleasure", and and unnamed Black/Silver Dollar Store Polish

The plate I used was Mash- 36. I used the Eye of Ra image.

I started out with 2 coats of  Essence "What Do U Think?":
"What Do U Think?" is a orange creme with a gold shimmer, which you can see better in the bottle in the pictures. It does show up on the nail. It is very pretty.

I then used Orly "Glitz" and Misa "Sisterhood" to create my gradient. I plan on making a tutorial for the gradient soon, so please keep an eye out for that :)
I was kinda going for a golden, desert-like gradient, Egyptian looking.

I think it turned out beautiful.

I wanted to add a little something more, so I did 1 coat of Misa "Sweet Pleasure"

I love the sparkle and how subtle it is.

Using my polish from the Dollar Store, which is like a black and silver swirled together and it has a really awesome color, unlike any other black I have. I stamped an eye on each nail and as an accent I added a red rhinestone to the center of the eye on my ring fingers.

The clean-up was a bit of a pain but totally worth it. I love this mani and I almost don't want to take it off, but I can't wait to play with my Mash plates some more. I hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I do wearing it.

Thank you for reading!!

Yar! There be Another Gradient!!

First thing I want to say is I just added a new feature... If  you look over here -----> you will see that you can now see my current bottle count. Now you can see just how many polishes I have!!!

On to other thing....

I have another gradient for you today. I recently found the Color Club "Take Wing" set at Burlington Coat Factory for $7.99!!!
Before getting this set I only had 2 lonely Color Club's, so now they have some friends :)

I really wanted to try some of these polishes out and I wanted to do another gradient... so here is what I did!!

I started with 1 coat of Confetti "Lonesome Dove" It's a very nice gray with a nice formula and great coverage. I only used 1 coat since it was a base coat and I don't think I really needed it to be opaque.

These are the 3 colors I decided to use from the set. The bottles don't have names so I had to look them up online. From L to R: Dasiy Does, Sparkle and Soar, and Wing Fling.

I used a makeup sponge to apply the polishes one at a time and overlapping. I went back and forth between colors until I was happy with them. I did realize that these were a pain to clean up lol it just didn't want to come off.
I wanted to add a little something to my nails so I did a little stamping. I really need to get more plates. I don't care for some of the ones I have. But I do like skulls so I was happy :) I just did the one skull on my ring finger on each hand....

And on my thumbs I did one big skull and one small skull.

I like the result... minus the mess lol.

Are you sick of seeing gradients? I have a few more that I've done and I have a few more ideas!!

Thank you for reading and don't forget to enter my giveaway!!

A Black Mamba and a Club Rat walk into a bar... - Day 1

Ok, so it's not really a joke, but it is what's on my nails :) I didn't do a whole lot for this mani. Just some simple stamping today. I started out with 2 coats of Spoiled "Club Rat" and stamped a weird little skull over it with Spoiled "Black Mamba" and finished it up with OTD Northern Lights for some sparkle :) This is the final result

Nothing to special but I like how it turned out. I'm starting a 90 day challenge with some other girls in a facebook group Never Too Much Sparkle. We are suppose to post something beauty related everyday for.. you guessed it 90 days lol. I'm really going to try and post something everyday. Most will probably be nails, but I've been getting some awesome shadows lately so there will be some eye looks mixed in there. It started yesterday so this will be my post for day 1 and I will do another post when I get home to count for today. Well wish me luck and keep checking back to see how I'm doing on the 90 day challenge :)
Keep me motivated!!!
