Milani 3D Holographic - Hi-Res

I've been seeing swatches of the Milani 3D holographic polishes and I love green so I had to pick it up. I'm so glad I did. I plan on getting the rest of the colors because they are just so awesome. I wanted to do somethign other than just a plain nail so I decided to try out a new product I found called nailene Perfect Tips

I'm not very good with nail art so any I will take any help I can get. I don't have the most steady hand either. I decided to do a black tip since I had a polish that has the same holographic-ness to it.

So the two polishes I used were: Milani "Hi-Res"
                                                     Icing "Blackout"

You can really see all of the colors in these polishes

So I used "Hi-Res" as my base coat, I did two coats to make sure the color was even on all nails.
I am inpatient so I didn't wait as long as I should have to apply the french tip guides. Some people say to wait at least 30mins for the polish to dry... I didn't lol.

The guides are very sticky so I stuck them to my hand a few times to get them a little less sticky. I did mess up one nail when I pulled the guide off, it took my polish right off. The guides are simple to use.

I had to try fix a couple of my nails, but they still turned out nice. Some of the lines are a little messy, but again that is due to the fact I was not being patient and taking my time.

Please excuse the ooppsies, I took the pictures before I cleaned up...

They look even better in the sun, I will try to take another picture tomorrow before I take it off... Please let me know what you think... Thanks :)

Maybelline Eye Studio

Yesterday during lunch I went to Wal-Mart and I finally bought two of the new Maybelline EyeStudio Color Explosion eye shadows. (The pictures on their website don't do anything to the actual product) I bought the green and the purple. I love glitter and sparkle so these were no brainers for me. They looked so pretty and I couldn't wait to try them out. So I'm going to review the green first and in the next couple of days I will show the purple one called "Amethyst Ablaze."

The green one is called "Green Fury" Green is my favorite color so I couldn't wait to try it.

My camera doesn't do it justice. The colors are so pretty and very sparkly :)  The colors went on wonderfully and were true to the palette. When I took the first pictures I forgot to to use the liner, but I still like it...

This was before I put on the luminizer top coat... sadly the camera didn't pick it up as much but you can tell there is a difference.

I just love, love, love this eyeshadow. At least with these I don't have to add my own glitter lol :) I was going to take pictures with the liner, but I had to get to work so I took a picture after work, but this also lets you see how it stood up after a day of work, and yes I used my good ol' UDPP :) So here are pictures with the liner...

This one shows that there is a lot of sparkle in it.

So all in all this product is a win in my opinion. I love eye shadows and I love sparkle, and this is 2/2. If you like the same as me then I highly recommend this product.

Thanks for reading :)

My First Nail Polish Post

I've really been into the crackle nail polish lately and I have a bunch of them I have yet to use. So Last night, before I made this blog, I decided to try for a peacock look. I've always love peacock feathers. I decided to to go with a green base and a blue crackle on top.

The polishes I used: Orly in "Fresh", Milani in "Green Glow" and Pure Ice Crackle in "Strike A Pose"

I used the Orly as a base (2 coats)ans decided that is need a little sparkle so i did one coat of Milani "Green Glow" which made it better and gave it a little more depth. (sorry didn't take pictures before the topcoat, didn't know I was going to start a blog hehe). For the crackle I decided to use Pure Ice's "Strike A Pose" because it was brighter and kinda sparkly too. I love sparkle :)

So this is the final result, I really like how it turned out, very peacocky :). Let me know what you think!

Please give me any feedback that you can. Thank you so much!!
