Never Forget To Use Protection!!! Day 19

Day 19 of the 90 Day Challenge

My hand and shoulder are really hurting right now and I have no idea why.. so not a lot of words for this post :)

For this mani I started with 2 coats of FingerPaints "Add & Abstract" and added 1 coat of Spoiled "Use Protection" on my ring finger as an accent.
No clue how I missed that spot on my ring finger when cleaning up lol
I really liked how my accent finger looked sooo....

I said "Screw It!!!" and added it to the rest of my nails :)

I love it and I'm glad one nail wasn't enough for me :)

Well that's it for today. I'm going to bed now. Don't forget to check out the other ladies and their blogs!!

You Better Catch Up!!! Days 16, 17, and 18

Warning: This is a long post with lots of pictures!!!

I'm a bad, bad, bad, blogger :( I've been slacking on the posting for the 90 Day Challenge. I've had a lot going on, but you didn't come here to hear me whine lol, so I'm just going to get on to the pretties you really came to see :)
Day 16 of the 90 Day Challenge
So first up is a polish I got in my recent swap, Models Own "Tropical Sun" one of the newly released polishes. It's a little on the sheer side so I used 3 coats. Next time I think I'll use some underwear :)
I love the color. It's an orange with a golden shimmer to it. I planning on playing with some layering soon. I love to play with polish!

I didn't notice the little bubbles on a few of the nails until I looked at these pictures lol, it wasn't really that noticeable on the nail though.
I'm very happy with this polish and I'd love to get the other two that were recently released at the same time as "Tropical Sun"

Day 17 of the 90 Day Challenge

Yesterday I went to the Dollar Store to find a small glass dish for water marbling... I went in for 1 thing and came out after spending $13.00 lol... Here are the nail related items:

These polishes are so pretty and 2 for a $1 so they are 50 cents each!!! Awesome dea1! These two are "Midnight Sky" and "Teal-y Cool"
These two are "Lavender Envy" and "Twinkle, Twinkle"
These I saw and had to get them. I figured that if they don't work for franking then I can still use them for nail art. I have a few being tested right now to see how they hold up in polish.

The top ones are bar glitter and various shapes, the bottom row are glitter, bullion beads, and iridescent glitter. There was a 6th one but it was the crushed shells and I had no interest in them so I didn't get them. I'm thinking about go to pick up a few more for my next giveaway. Let me know if you want more pictures of these.

After that stop I went to Sally Beauty Supply for their buy 2 get 1 sale on the polishes. This is what I brought home:
L to R: Pink Voltage (neon), Celtic Sun (neon), and Into the Limelight (neon)
Since summer is around the corner and the weather is kinda warming up, I decided that I needed some nice neons in my collection.

L to R: Burnt Orange, Molten Gold, Molten Copper, Purple Pizzazz
I just liked these ones :)

I also received nail mail from an ebay auction that I won.
L to R: Icing Radio Super Star, Party Hardy, Glamourous, Lemon Cello On The Rocks
I got them for a great price, cheaper then if I had bought them in the store, even with shipping so Yay! Win for me!
I did try out "Radio Super Star" the blue and purple glitter were pretty, the starts on the other hand were a PITA, but if you can get them on your nails they do lay flat.

Day 18 of the 90 Day Challenge
My first go at water marbling!!

So really it isn't my first go at it, but it was my first attempt that actually made it on my nails lol. I was having so may issues, but after I tried a glass dish it worked out a lot better. I was trying to get something similar to this:
This was done by Colette from My Simple Little Pleasures. How awesome looking is that? I love it. I tried to use similar colors since I didn't have the exact same ones. I used:
China Glaze - "Riveting", "Harvest Moon" "Smoke and Ashes" and Spoiled - "Pick Your Poison"

Mine didn't come out even close but I'm still proud of it :)
Left Hand, the 2 darker nails are the first ones I dipped, so not that great, and you can't see the "bubbles" in person either
I love how my thumbs turned u, I just wish it hadn't gotten smudged :(
I got a bit better on the second hand. I dipped all 4 fingers in at the same times since it was getting late and I was getting tired. I should have used more black and red.
I do like how this thumb came out too. None of my nails really looked like flames so it was kinda a fail, but you can't get better at something if you don't practice. So I know what I'm going to be doing this weekend :)

Well that's it for now. I'm not current on the 90 Day Challenge. Don't forget to check out the other ladies participating in the challenge as well:

Pretty Eyes - Day 15

Day 15 of the 90 Day Challenge

I wasn't too sure what to name this post, so I just went with what I say every time I look at the
pictures :)
These are all of the shadows I used for this look:
Top Row - L to R: Chromatic: Walk of Shame, Terrestrial, Seraph
Bottom Row - Victorian Disco: AK-47 Glitter & Glamatronic: Golden Peach
I started with UDPP and a thin layer of Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
I started with "Walk Of Shame" on the inner half of the lid and "Seraph" on the outer half of the lid.
Next I added "AK-47" glitter to the inner corner of both eyes.
I then added "Terrestrial" to the center of both lids
The final step was adding "Golden Peach" on the remaining area of the eye.
I love, love, love how this turned out. It was so sparkly and beautiful. "Terrestrial" is one of my new favorite shadows. I plan on getting a full jar very soon!! "It has this beautiful iridescent shimmer to it and it's awesome on it's own, but over another shadow it become magical :)

Saturday Nail Haul

Today I went to Sally Beauty Supply. I had a coupon for $10 off of $20 since it's my birthday month. Plus on top of that Sally's is having a buy 2 get 1 free sale on all their nail polish :) So this is what I ended up bringing home with me lol
L to R: Rose Among Thorns (Neon), Tree Hugger, For Audrey, Dress Me Up
"Rose Among Thorns" just looked pretty in the bottle so I had to have it :) I love greens so I figures "Tree Hugger" would be a nice addition to my collection. I'm always reading about "For Audrey" so I figured I 'd give it a try. I wasn't planning on getting "Dress Me Up" but after seeing a few swatches of it I decided it would be a nice polish to own.
L to R: Sunset Sail, Oxygen, Rainbow, Fast Forward Top Coat

I was looking for some neutral colors so I picked up "Sunset Sail" and "Oxygen" and "Rainbow is so pretty I thought it would make for some fun layering.
I thought it was funny that China Glaze is my favorite brand of polish and I have never tried their Top Coat, so I figured this was as good a time as any to try it out.
I know you thinking... "Hey, if the polishes were buy 2 get one free, why are you only showing up 8 polishes? Aren't you missing one?" Well my friend you are correct :) I did get a 9th bottle but I felt it wasn't necessary to show it since it was just a back up bottle of "Ruby Pumps" It's almost always out of stock so I figured it wouldn't hurt to get a bottle for a future swap :)
Well after Sally's I went to Ulta just to look around. I was really excited to find that they had butter London "Tart With A Heart"
Well that's it for today. I always have such a hard time deciding what polish to wear next so these polishes are just going to make it harder lol.

Here's a funny for you :) More can be found on my Funnies page

Thanks for reading and keep an eye out for my next giveaway once I reach 200 followers :)

Juciy Golden Green - Day 14

**Quick note before I get started. I just noticed I'm 30 followers away from 200... which means another giveaway is in the near future :)**

On my last post I should you my awesome swap. Today I'll be showing you 2 of the Models Own polishes I recieved. "Golden Green" from the Bettlejuice Collection and "Juicy Jules"

I started out with 3 coats of "Golden Green" I could have gotten away with 2 coats, but I could still seen a little VNL so I opted for a third coat :)

I'm a sucker for greens so I really love this polish. I like how it changes a little bit depending on the light and the angle you look at it. I know it needed something so I just "Juciy Jules" on my accent nail. I used 2 coats and got awesome coverage. You can barely see the polish underneath it.

This pictures were taken in the sun through my window this morning :) (please ignore my crummy cuticles. I had just woken up and didn't use lotion yet.)

I love both of these polishes. The formula was smooth and I had no issues during application. I have 2 more Models Own polishes to try out. If they are all this great I will be adding more of them to my collection! :)

Well that's all for today. Please check back tomorrow for Day 12, and don't forget to check out the other girls participating in this challenge!!

My First Big Swap - Day 13

Day 13 of the 90 Day Challenge

So this is really my second swap, but my first one was a small one and it wasn't over seas. For more then a month I've been chatting with another blogger, Rachel (Polished Criminails) and I feel we have become friends. We even have a few jokes too. We decided to do a swap. It was easy to shop for her since she had a wishlist that was easy to work off of. I don't really know much about polishes overseas so she had a bit of a harder time lol. I looked at some sites and made a small list but I left most of it up to her, and she did a great job. I love everything she sent me.   Ok on to the spoils :)
When I opened the box and this is what I found :) It made me laugh, but I was not fooled lol
Rachel is a packaging queen... It makes me feel like I just threw mine in a box and mailed it lol. The jokes also made me laugh. In case you are wondering the answers for #1 is : No eye deer, and #2: Still no eye deer lol I love lame jokes because they are so lame they are funny lol
I got candy too :) I love the suckers, they remind me of ones I use to eat as a kid. The loose polish is one she has on her blog sale and I asked for it :) Ok, no pics of the actual polish....
L to R: Tropical Sun, Juicy Jules, Aqua Violet, Golden Green
These are my very first Models Own polishes. They were on my wishlist and I love them all. I can't wait to get more :)

L to R: Ocean, Peachy, Gasoline
These are my first Gosh polishes as well and I can't wait to try them out.

L to R: W7 - (Top Row) Metallic Saturn, Metallic Mercury, Metallic Neptune
(Bottom Row) Metallic Jupiter, Metallic Venus, Metallic Mars
Again this is a new brand to me, but the polishes are gorgeous. They are all duochrome polishes which make them even more awesome. I swatched them and they are almost identical on the nail as in the bottle!!!
L to R: Spring Green, Crock Effects, Dusky Mauve
Lol once again Barry M is a new brand to me. I can't wait to try out the crock effects. If you don't know what it is, it is similar to the crackle polish, but it cracks and looks like scales, like a crocodile :).
Collection 2000 is a new brand to me like all the others. The bottles are smaller then regular polish bottle and it make them look even cuter lol
The Saffron polish does not have a name, this is the one I got from Rachel's blog sale. The Max Factor is "Disco Pink" and the W7 is a clear top coat :) You can never have enough top coat lol :)

And I saved the best for last :) A polish that a lot of people are trying to get their hands on, and I got a bottle because of my awesome friend Rachel (and her bf lol)
Max Factor "Fantasy Fire" WoooHooo!!! This is suppose to be a close dupe for Clarins 230. I was so excited when I found out I was going to be the proud owner of this beauty.

I'm so happy with everything I got and I was able to take a few items off my lemming list. I can't wait to swap again with Rachel. If you want to see what I sent her you can find her blog post here: Polished Criminails

Well that's all folks :) for now anyways lol. Thanks for reading!
Have a great day (or night depending on where you are)!

Please check back tomorrow for Day 14, and don't forget to check out the other girls participating in this challenge!!
